Be Thankful.

Hi Fitness Athletes!
I have been getting various e-mails from American companies (I guess I am on quite a few mailing lists) wishing me a Happy Thanksgiving.  Here in Canada,  Thanksgiving has already passed- but now is as good a time as any to be thankful.
I have taken a short break from training, and tomorrow is my first official day back.  I am thankful.
Working out is not a chore, it is a privilege and a luxury.  I am privileged to be able to train my body; to continually make it stronger.  I am privileged to live in a part of the world where it makes sense to workout for the sake of working out.
I have one body, and it’s my responsibility to take care of it.  I fuel it well, and I exercise it daily- because that is what it’s meant to do.
Next time you are contemplating a workout, or are feeling sour because you are exercising, and would rather be doing something else, remember that working out is a privilege, and be thankful!
