Cabbage, Sausage + Avocado Skillet

Looking for something quick, simple, delicious, nutritious and using ingredients you can easily keep on hand? This recipe, my friends, is the answer. This makes the perfect breakfast, lunch or dinner. Make extra for leftovers, or pack some to do in your lunch kit at work.

Serves 1
1/2-1 good quality sausage, diced
2-3 cups shredded or thinly slice cabbage
1/3-1/2 avocado
Salt + garlic to taste
Heat skillet over medium heat. Add sausage right away. The fat from the sausage will be your fat for frying. After a few minutes, add the cabbage. Stir often so it doesn’t burn. Season with salt + garlic.
Once the cabbage is soft, add in the avocado and mash with a fork. Mix well.
Eat slowly and mindfully. Chew your food and ENJOY!
*If you’re making extras or packing it to go, don’t add the avocado right away. Add the avocado right before eating.
