Chocolate Banana Smoothie


I can’t help it: I LOVE chocolate.   I have read that chocolate is actually good for you- but logic tells me that no amount of antioxidants can turn a bar of chocolate of a bowl of chocolate ice cream into health food.
It’s my love for chocolate and health that lead me to create the perfect delicious and nutritious Chocolate Banana Smoothie.  What could be better… A chocolatey treat that is actually good for you!
Ingredients:
1/2 – 1 banana (depending on how hungry I am)
1 cup milk – I use Almond milk but you can also use any kind of milk.  Unsweetened almond and coconut milk are good options to cut down on calories and sugar.
1 scoop/serving high quality vanilla protein
1 tbsp cocoa powder
A few ice cubes
Method:
Seriously simple:
Combine all ingredients into a blender.  Blend.  Pour into a cup tall glass.  Put your feet up, sip your smoothie and enjoy!
