Hi Peak Fitness Athletes!
After yesterday’s dodgy workout, I am back on track!
I did this workout at Anytime Fitness in Chilliwack. All you need is a set of dumbbells and your own rockin’ body!
Warm up: 5 minutes (I did skipping, high knees, and trunk rotations)
Workout:
5 exercises. 50 seconds on, 10 seconds rest. 60 seconds after each round. 4 rounds.
Exercises:
1. Burpees (with push-up and jump)
2. Mountain climbers (elbows slightly bent to target the triceps)
3. Deadlift + shoulder press
4. Dumbbell row
5. Squats (holding weights)
Warm down: Stretching. DO NOT SKIP THIS PART OF THE WORKOUT!
Remember: When you measure, you improve! Grab your training log and record your reps and weight!
My scores were:
Burpees: 8, 9, 8, 7
Mountain climbers: 33, 34, 36, 36
Deadlift + shoulder press (12 pounds): 9, 10, 10, 10
Row: 18, 13, 15, 10
Squats: 21, 18, 18, 13
