I had began changing my lifestyle about 6 months before I joined, eating healthier and smarter was helping me to lose some weight but I need to improve my fitness to take the next step. I heard good things about Ascend and I felt that a team environment would suit me. I have joined many gyms in the past and never stuck with it. At Ascend you are held accountable by the group so that gets you out of bed at 5am because you know others are doing the same thing!
Since joining ascend I have lost 40 lbs, improved my cardio and strength along with lowering my blood pressure.
Being in better shape has elbowed me to enjoy and appreciate more physical activities such as hiking. I have more energy on a day-to-day basis and I believe I have reduced my stress levels by exercising.
The Ascend fitness team is just that a Team! One of the reasons for me joining is because I needed a team environment to keep me motivated. Ascend fitness and the trainers have been very professional in providing me with the motivation that I needed to help me succeed.
The coaching program is great, the boot camps are designed to challenge people who are at different levels of fitness, and the coaches have always been considerate of my limitations yet find ways to push me and I get better!
For me it was all about the team aspect of Ascend, I have been involved in team sports my whole life. When you are on a team you are held accountable by the other team members and coaches so you always show up for games or practice. Boot camp has given me that similar environment. The boot camps are designed to challenge you and if you are committed you will get results!
I have never felt better in my life.
