Stay Fit Holiday Quickie

I’m all about efficiency, especially during the holidays!  Like most people, I enjoy the results I get from working out (energizes me, keeps me slim, makes me feel great), but I don’t want to spend hours getting theses results.
Here’s a cardio quickie to do.  The workout is designed to be done on the treadmill, but you can modify it to be done on the bike or other cardio equipment.   It burns a ton of calories and is over in 20-30 minutes.
5 minute warm- up.  Gradually increase intensity during the warm up.
3 minute work interval: 2% incline.  Increase speed each min (I start at 8mph and build to 9mph)
1 minute easy/ recovery
3 minute work interval: Brisk pace.  Increase incline from 2% to 6% (by 2% each minute)
1 minute easy/ recovery
3 minute work interval: 2% incline.  Increase speed each min (I start at 8mph and build to 9mph)
1 minute easy/ recovery
3 minute work interval: Brisk pace.  Increase incline from 2% to 6% (by 2% each minute)
3-5 minute warm-down.
