3 Ways to Improve your GUT Health without Supplements

💨 1: Take five breaths before starting your meal.

Digestion is a parasympathetic process. Breathing shifts you from a sympathetic (stress) state to a parasympathetic state for optimal digestion.

🍴 2: Take smaller bites and chew your food 20+ times per bite.

Chemical and mechanical digestion starts in the mouth. If you don’t chew your food, you’re putting extra burden on your stomach, pancreas, liver and small intestine.

💧 3: If you have low stomach acid, drink a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar with a bit of water (think shot glass size) 10 minutes before eating.

Apple cider vinegar can help stimulate stomach acid, which is critical for digestion.
