Personalized Fitness at Ascend

Personalized Personal Training Program

We start with a Comprehensive Initial Health Assessment so that we can design a custom designed program for YOU based on your goals, fitness level and movement patterns.  Your personalized program include corrective and postural exercises, resistance training, cardio training and mobility training. 

During your training session, you will work alongside 1-3 other members. You will be coached through your individual program every session to ensure correct form, instruction on proper equipment use, to keep you safe and motivate you to do your best. 

Helping You Every Step of the Way

We are Chilliwack’s go-to fitness studio for people in their 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and beyond. Our team of Kinesiologists and Medical Exercise Specialists have experienced in working with all fitness levels, health conditions, past injuries and/or limitations.

We design your workout for YOU. You work at your own pace and at your fitness level. We are here to guide, coach and motivate you. 

We have members who start exercising in their 70s and 80s. It’s never too late to take care of your health!

Nutrition Coaching + Support

If you want to improve your energy, decrease joint pain, lose weight, improve mobility or simply feel GOOD, what you eat matters.

Nutrition support is offered as part of our 6-week Fit for Life Program and ongoing programs. 1-1 personalized nutrition coaching is available as a stand-alone offering and as part of our all-inclusive health and fitness programs. 

Flexible Scheduling to Fit YOUR Lifestyle

Our training sessions start as early as 5:30AM on weekday mornings and go until 7:30PM at night. Many of our members have shift work, or have meetings and other appointments that happen from time to time. With our flexible scheduling, you can book the same time each week, or change from week to week, whichever is the most convenient for you!

Ongoing Coaching and Accountabilty

This is where the magic happens! We’ll celebrate successes, bust through barriers and challenges and create a short-term action plan to help you reach your goals. We regularly track your progress so you can see your improvements. Whether you are here at the studio of away on vacation or travel, we’ll make sure you have a plan to follow to reach your goals. Ready to Get Started? Here's How it Works

1. Register for our 6 Week New Member Program

Everyone new to Ascend Fitness begins with our signature 6 week Fit for Life Program. This is the best way for you to see what we are all about. Click the blue button below to learn more. We will call you to make sure all your questions are answered before you get started. 

2. Attend Your Initial Fitness Assessment

Once you have registered you will meet one of our team members for your initial assessment. Here we learn about your goals, health history, injuries, and do a comprehensive assessment so we have the information we need to build your customized program.

3. Begin Your Program

You’ll attend your training sessions 2x – 3x per week in our studio. During each session one of our experienced trainers will coach you through your personalized program showing you how to perform each exercise safely and effectively.

4. Make Your Health an Ongoing Priority

After your initial 6 weeks you can decide to keep right on training. Many of our members have been with us for 3, 5, 8, 10+ years and love KNOWING they are taking the right steps each week to stay strong, mobile, pain free, and healthy for years to come.
