Stop Making Things Harder on Yourself

Let me ask you:
Where is your attention? Where are your thoughts? What are you focusing on?

Are you focusing on all the things that are getting in the way? The barriers? The challenges?

Maybe it’s an unsupportive spouse, lack of time, your metabolism, that change is hard, or the fact that you’ve failed so many times before.

What we focus on expands.

Your challenges are real. You’re not making them up.

But if you focus on them, that’s what you get more of. And that makes weight loss SO MUCH HARDER!

Instead, ask yourself “What CAN I do? What am I willing to do?”

Keep directing your attention to the solution.

You can be aware of the things that are getting in the way, which can certainly be helpful. You might not be able to change the barriers, but you can change what you do.

You can control what you do, how you respond, and your perspective.
